The aim of this project is to explore the history, creation and currency of a typeface, in this case Eurostile. These letterforms work together as a tool to turn letters into words into meanings. They form our language. Typefaces give us an extra opportunity to express ourselves through image and visual characters. Their aesthetic assets of this typeface provide us with a system of classification that help us navigate the large amounts of typefaces that exist today. This project will focus on the typeface history as well as it’s visual appeal and abilities to have human emotions as a way of expression and that through the formation of a band. The music genre Eurostile focuses on is Electronic, which is an important part when we started to visualise the identity of our band.
